Nokia N900 and X6: Is the iPhone less desirable now?

You must of heard all the buzz lately, about Nokia’s upcoming N900 Internet Tablet right? If not, you don’t know what you’re missing, as the phone is definately shaping up to be great device.

After seeing all the videos of the Nokia N900, as well as the first look at the stylish Maemo 5 interface, could the N900 step up to be a competitor to the iPhone? If you are not too bothered about the N900, then what about the Nokia X6? That has just been announced too and looks like a good option for those looking for an iPhone alternative.

Maybe it is early days yet and we shouldn’t get too excited from the videos, but it certainly is an exciting time for Nokia fans. If you havent seen our reports on the N900 and X6, you can read up on them here and here.

    An open environment, a true firefox, with a true and recent flash.
    Possibility to use the device as a very low consumption and perfect silent ftp client/server, a torrent client.
    A SIP client completely integrated in the communication module.
    And so much other things!

    Truely: a new world!

    They might become replacement for my iphone – but i’ve gotta touch and play with them before iake the decision

    Oh yeah man i hav played wid the iphone for a while and am not impressed anymore!! u get bored f it after sum time! so eah the n900 is a heavenly phone for me!! i LUV IT!!!
