Samsung Omnia 2 i8000 and LITE to support app store soon

According to a recent report on KnowYourMobile Samsung will soon be launching their own answer to Apple’s App Store, if these rumors are correct we should see their app store launch on the 14th September initially in the UK, France and Italy.

The store will be available for the Samsung Omnia and i8910 HD owners, however Samsung are also reporting that they are working on support for other handsets such as the Omnia 2 i8000 and the OmniaLITE.

When Samsung’s app store initially launches it is expected to have a range of free and paid-for applications, and obviously this figure will grow and grow, especially considering the amount of money which can be made on mobile phone applications.
