Guitar Hero 5 builds on the solid foundations set by previous versions of the game such as Guitar Hero III Legends of Rock and Guitar Hero On Tour 4, however has also added a few new features and options to enhance your experience, these new features include ‘Party Play’, ‘Momentum’ and Perfectionist.
Party Play is a new feature which makes the game more accessible for gamers who have less spare time on their hands, gamers can now jump straight into a game at any point without having to wait for a track to finish, you can then change instruments mid-game and even choose a more suiting difficulty mid-game.
Momentum will be a new option selectable within RockFest mode, this will adjust to a gamers skill by speeding up when a player is doing well, and slowing down when a gamer is struggling, this feature should allow for players with different skill levels to compete.
Perfectionist is a new game mode where player points are given to different sections of a track, the final score will be calculated at the end of the track and will be dependent on how the player performed during the certain sections of the track.
