Black Nintendo Wii Remote Bundle: Where’s the console?

Nintendo have just announced that the black Wiimote is coming to North America during the holiday season. Unfortunately, they did not reveal if the lovely black Wii console is coming along with it.

As reported from Joystiq, the black wiimote will be coming along with some new Nintendo DSi covers. The new Wiimote is going to be available either separately or as a bundle with a black MotionPlus accessory too. The black nunchuck will not be bundled though, so you’ll have to buy that separately either way.

Nintendo also hinted that more Wiimote colors could be on the way in the future, but we’d rather hear news on a black console release. If you haven’t seen it yet, we reported on it back in July here.

It looks like Japan will only be getting the console at the moment, hopefully that will change sooner rather than later. Let us know what you think of the black Wiimote.
