Bell’s New Palm Pre Ad and Insults
By: Jamie Pert | September 1, 2009 | Leave a CommentThe Canadian carrier Bell have recently released their latest advert in which they are advertising the Palm Pre, the advert is quite clever as it has integrated the Palm Pre’s functionality within meetings between a spokesman called Bradley and some ‘active’ Canadians.
The advert can be seen below and starts with an insult towards Americans by saying “Unlike our neighbors to the south, Canadians are an active people.”, the general idea of the advert attempts to show you how a Palm Pre fits in with an active lifestyle,
The advert features meetings with some roller-girls and some boules players, and in my opinion advertises the handset quite cleverly, albeit a little offensively, check out Engadget for the original article.
Are you American? Do you find the Advert at all offensive?
