IPhone Problems: Overheating, exploding and Apple’s response
By: Alan Ng | August 29, 2009 | Leave a CommentWe have yet more problems to report to you now, on the whole ‘overheating’ issue with the Apple iPhone, which has been ongoing for a few months now.
As reported from Endgadget, we also have a ‘rare’ statement from Apple themselves, who have replied to the recent ‘exploding’ iPhone issues over in France.
Just when you think the overheating stories were beginning to disappear, everything has literally ‘blown up’ again after reports have informed us of an iPhone handset ‘exploding’ in the hands of a security guard, with a shard of glass causing damage to his eye.
The issue has prompted French trade officials to confront Apple over the matter and the company have issued a statement stating that the battery was ‘not’ the reason behind it.
There is more on this story over at Engadget and even more at this article from the BBC. Have a read and let us know your thoughts on the news.
