Huge new PS3 exclusive title

Some exciting news for PS3 owners now, as it has been revealed that a new PS3 exclusive title is in the works - according to website PSXExtreme. They claim to know the game, but are under orders from Sony and the developers to keep the game quiet.
According to their article, they say the game in question is a ‘familiar’ one and something that ‘most’ gamers will find enjoyable. They have added that they might be able to reveal the game around January / February next year, and also that the PS3 exclusive will be released at the end of 2010.
Their story seems pretty legit to us, so we can only assume that they are telling the truth. Let the guessing game begin then eh folks?

please let it be Sly 4! It wouldn’t be GTA because that’s multiplatform. Resistance 3? Killzone 3? Too soon for the latter, but right on time for the former. LittleBigPlanet sequel? Doubtful, as it is still selling software and DLC. That Warhawk sequel I’ve heard something about? Very well could be. MGS Rising is already announced. Same with God of War 3, Ratchet and Clank, and Gran Turismo. (I’m mentally going through my game shelf right now, by the way.) I’m getting excited just thinking about it.
OH! Maybe Crash Bandicoot! Naughty Dog was talking about going to do something else! Maybe with the PS3 we can make Crash say something else than “WOAH!”
My short list for announcement (each because I haven’t heard of many details yet).
Resistance 3 (as Insomniac is confirmed to like alternating between Ratchet and Clank and Resistance)
Crash Bandicoot title (as a Naughty Dog employee, when asked if they wanted to do something else, responded that they are)
Sly title (cause who doesn’t like that sneaky raccoon?)
Warhawk title (One of the most popular titles on the PS3 to date, overdue for a sequel)
Tom, you’re wrong. It’s a PS3 exclusive, which means it is only for the PS3. Another Grand Theft Auto would be for all systems.

eric: I don’t think Killzone 3 would be out of the question. KZ2 was released… when… February? So by late 2010 that’d give them well over a year and a half. KZ2 is still a technical marvel, so it’s not like the engine needs a lot of work. They could easily just give the engine a bit of minor tweaking, throw together a new campaign and set of multiplayer maps, and away they go. Year and a half is plenty of time for that.
But please, dear God, let them have a decent script and some decent acting this time. In a game with such stunning production values as KZ2, the woeful writing and amateurish voice performances really did stand out quite badly.
Maybe something in the Jak and daxter series
People are missing the picture with this big time! Forum speculation is rife with people listing games like KZ2 or Warhawk 2! Ratchet and clank, crash bandicoot WTF! Closest guess to the kind of game we are looking for is GTA 5.. I don’t think it is that but… It has to be something the xbots want too.. Therefore it must be something big, maybe something that originally was multi platform… Games like MGS and warhawk you could never get an xbot to say were good! We know it’s a sequel also… Popular speculation is twisted metal 2 but as a person who wasn’t a fan it doesn’t seem big enough… Bearing in mind the best game of all time is an FPS (Cod 4) Im betting on it being something like that.. I originally thought a new FF but that again seems more a playstation thing! Even though 13 is multiplatform! Dammit!
One things for sure, it’s either a sequel to something this generation that was huge on all platforms or something that was on ps2 or xbox previous generation… I know reporters saw this at Liepzig because some guys claimed to have been led to a secret room and shown something that would “blow this generation away” and it “wasn’t mgs4″… But remember guys this is definitely no kids game, this is hardcore and widely loved! Halo 5 maybe! Lol! 
Could be the new Tomb Raider Horror game that has been rumoured recently.. or was that confirmed? I lose track.
‘Black’ is still waiting for a sequel. Maybe ‘The Getaway 3′ has been picked back up.
Personally I would like to see a sequel to Bully, Rockstar’s franchise-in-waiting. The next GTA probably won’t have a number. PS2 saw Vice City, San Andreas and PSP ports Liberty City Stories and Vice City Stories follow GTA 3.
My money is on a multi-platform sequel going PS3 exclusive again.
I think it could possibly be GTA 5. Think about it this way: Sony lets it go non-exclusive for 1 title to get the Xbox360 people hooked on it. Then, for the next title(s), have it exclusive again so that people that really like it will probably buy a PS3.
na if you read it says its a revamp of an old franchise meaning it not been around this gen it wont be anything like gta it will be a fresh new way to play im not even going to take a punt at what it is all i know is it will be the deal breaker
