The survey performed by AdMob which quizzed over 1000 iPhone, iPod touch and Android users might not be perfect, but at least it offers a small glance into the figures that Apple could be looking at each month.
According to the survey, Apple users are twice as likely to purchase a paid app than Android users are. And iPod touch users downloading almost twice as many apps in total as regular iPhone users. The figures show that on average iPod touch users download around 18.4 apps a month of which 2 are paid apps, iPhone users download 10.2 a month of which 2.6 are paid apps, and at the bottom of the pile there is Android users who download around 9.1 apps on average per month of which only 1 app will be a paid app.
