Good news for Battlefield 2 owners now, as we have details on the upcoming v1.50 patch that has been long overdue. It has been in the works for over a year now, but we’re glad to say you’ll be able to download it next week.
As reported from VG247, the Battlefield 2 1.50 patch update will go live on Tuesday 1st September. It will add the Operation Blue Pearl map to the game, bringing the total number of maps to eight.
Aside from that, you’ll also get a widescreen mode and support for the Novint Falcon controller. As you would expect, a ton of bug fixes will also be made in the update.
However, players will need to own the Highway Tampa map in order to receive the patch. More information over at the official website.
Are you looking forward to the update?
