Sprint’s HTC Hero: Possible Release Date

According to a recent article on IntoMobile it seems that there Best Buy Mobile will soon be taking $50 deposits for a ‘new’ handset as of September 13th, IntoMobile believe that this handset is most likely going to be the HTC Hero on the Sprint carrier.
There is a possibility that it could be a different Android handset (the Samsung InstinctQ), however at the moment the HTC Hero is looking like the favorite.

The most likely phone would be the Hero. The InstinctQ has been discussed, but the phone that seems to have gotten the most work so far is the Hero. It seems like Sprint’s had it in testing longer.
