Snow Leopard: Review of Enhancements
By: Jamie Pert | August 27, 2009 | Leave a CommentWith the launch of Max OS X Snow Leopard imminent many people are still wondering whether or not they should spend the money on the upgrade or stick with their current OS version.
Personally I feel the cost of upgrading is so low that even if the advantages aren’t obvious now, in the long run the benefits should be worthwhile. If your unsure whether to purchase the upgrade check out MacRumors article which highlights the benefits of upgrading, for a fully detailed insight check out Apple website here.
Some of the new features and enhancements have already been talked about here, however there are still some things that we haven’t mentioned such as GPU accelerated video playback which utilizes your GPU for video-decoding therefore freeing up your CPU.
Other features include text editing features and integration, full multi-touch gesture support, iChat enhancements and improved security, as I said before for a full detailed look into the improvements check out MacRumors article here or Apple’s website here.
