There may be a lucky handful of you in the U.S who are excited with their capture of a PS3 Slim console, days before the intended release date, but over in the UK, it appears that retailers are planning to stick to Sony’s 1st September date.
That’s according to this recent Eurogamer article, who have been informed by popular UK retailer ShopTo, that the company will be selling the PS3 Slim console on the 1st September and not a day earlier.
ShopTo’s chief Igor Cipolletta revealed that he is expecting a huge shipment of PS3 Slim consoles sometime tomorrow, in preparation for them to start shipping them out on Friday 28th August.
With that said though and depending on where you live, you still might receive your Slim a day early if you’re lucky. Other UK retailers such as Play and Amazon are also known to deliver products a day or two early, so theres still hope for UK consumers yet.
