Sony make S and E Series Walkman players official

Sony have now made their S and E series of Walkman’s official, both the S series and E series feature impressive specifications and also will be available for pretty reasonable prices.

The Sony S Series Video MP3 players have built in high-quality stereo speakers however the device still manages to be small, compact and lightweight. They feature a 2.4 inch QVGA LCD screen with an ultra quick response time, capable of video playback of up to 30fps.

The S Series also feature an impressive battery life of up to 42 hours of music playback and up to 6.5 hours of video playback, however if you are using the internal speakers rather than your headphones the battery life is affected.

Both Walkmans will be available in a range of colors and also in 8GB and 16GB capacities, The S Series will retail at around $110 for the 8GB model and $130 for the 16GB model. The E Series will retail at around $80 for the 8GB model and $100 for the 16GB model.
