PS3 Slim in Japan: Creepy Commercials
By: Jamie Pert | August 26, 2009
There has been a history of complained about adverts for games consoles over the years, and it seems that the Japanese PS3 Slim advert is not going to break this trend, the new advert can be seen at the end of this post.
Over the years we have seen a PS2 advert directed by David Lynch and an Xbox advert showing ‘graphic’ evolution, well now the PS3 Slim Japanese advert is being tipped by Engadget to follow this pattern.
To many the advert will seem fine, however picture the scene of a young child with the sound turned up on a 56” display with the lights off…. I would imagine it could cause quite a stir.
Do you think the advert should be banned?

ban the advert why?
poor advert, yes. controversial/creepy, no.
Remember the original PS3 advert with the crying baby? Now, that was creepy… These new ads aren’t spooky at all…
Why has this advert been baned? Has there been an official announcement about it yet?
I like the know the reason as well for banning the advertisement.
