Good news for our EU readers now as Microsoft have confirmed recently that the upgrade versions of upcoming software Windows 7 will be available to all European customers on October 22nd, the official launch date.
As reported from TGDaily, the upgraded versions will be exactly the same as the versions being shipped elsewhere, and all will come bundled with Internet Explorer 8.
If you are looking to pick up a family pack, Microsoft are offering this in the UK for £149.99, allowing you to install the same copy of Windows 7 Home Premium on any three computers.
If you live in the UK and are looking to upgrade to Windows 7, head over to TG Daily to view full pricing details on the software.

Now I am confused.
Originally MS announced that they wouldn’t have an upgrade available, but would have the ‘E’ version.
As a means of assuaging people, they therefore offered a FULL version at rock bottom prices … which I have pre-ordered.
I am already running Windows 7 as part of the public release of the RC.
Does that mean that I have bought too early? or can I still do an upgrade using the full version that I am getting?
