BlackBerry OS Unofficial Updates: Tour, Bold, Curve, and Storm

If you own a BlackBerry handset, listen up as there has been a series of ‘unofficial’ updates released today for various BlackBerry models. These include the Storm 9530, Tour, Curve 8830 and the BlackBerry Bold.

As reported from IntoMobile, all these updates are available to download right now, but are not official releases from RIM. However, if you know what you are doing then it is a good idea to check them out as they bring some new and very cool features.

One of new features for owners of a BlackBerry Bold (who are willing to update to OS 5.0.0.190), is added support for threaded SMS, iPhone style. You can check out an image of this new feature at CrackBerry here.
