Following the recent launch of pre-orders for Apple Inc’s Snow Leopoard OS the software has now hit the top two spots on Amazon.com’s bestseller list. Snow Leopard hit the top spot whereas the Snow Leopard Family Pack took second place.
Currently pre-orders of Snow Leopard are selling for $29 and the Family Pack (which provides licenses for up to five Macs) is selling for $49. The only completion for these two top spots is Microsoft’s reduced price forpre-orders of Windows 7.
Apple are aiming to hit sales of 5 million copies within this quarter, and the fact that they have hit the top two spots on Amazon will surely help this, lets hope that the launch date on the 28th goes smoothly. Check out ComputerWorld’s article fore more details.
