Nokia Booklet 3G: Video shows new netbook

A video recently turned up on YouTube showing the new Nokia Booklet 3G, this netbook (which Nokia prefer to refer to as a mini-laptop) first turned up on our site yesterday, and there already seems to be quite a buzz surrounding it.

The video (which can be seen at the end of this post) shows the Nokia Netbook 3G from a lot of different angles and also outlines some of the Booklets main functionality and features, however throughout the whole video these is small text reading “subject to change”.

Some of the functionality and features mentioned yesterday have been confirmed today, such as some hardware specifications, these include a 10.1 inch “HD” display, HDMI -out, built in WiFi, Bluetooth, A-GPS and 3G modem, however processor RAM and hardisks are yet to be mentioned.

Pocket-Lint are reporting that the Booklet will have a 1.6GHz Intel Atom Z530 chipset, which may struggle with 720p HD video, Nokia have not confirmed or denied this yet.

The only thing we know about software at present is that it looks like it will be running Windows 7 (shown in the promotional video), and also Nokia will integrate Ovi Service’s such as their Maps, software along with Nokia Music Store and easy synchronization with mobile phones. The video also mentions corporate mail access, but did not expand on this.
