RIM Blackberry Users Work More
By: Jamie Pert | August 24, 2009 | Leave a CommentAccording to an article on telegraph.co.uk it seems that employees with BlackBerry handsets work an extra 15 hours per week, this is due to the fact that BlackBerry users can send and receive messages and even work online using the handset when at home.
Recently the employment law firm Peninsula had this to say on the matter “It is important for staff to spend quality time away from the office, spending time with the family, or undertaking recreational activities rather than tapping away responding to client emails or deadlines so that they keep a healthy work/life balance.”
This increased workload being undertaken is also thought to always be a result of the recession, because of the recession employees feel their jobs are under more pressure and by becoming more productive employees feel that they will be less likely to be made redundant.
