Nokia 5800 Navigation Edition: Launching in September
By: Alan Ng | August 24, 2009 | 1 CommentIf you think of the Nokia 5800, you would usually associate the ‘Comes with Music’ tag with it, but it has been reported that Nokia are preparing to launch the special ‘Navigation Edition’ of the phone during September.
As reported from T3, the 5800 Navigation Edition will come bundled with a lifetime subscription of voice-guided drive and walk software. The software will feature traffic warnings, local weather reports and come with full access to Nokia Ovi Maps.
You’ll also get a bundled in-box charger and in-car kit, making this a great package for regular GPS users. Aside from the GPS features, you’ll still get the features of a Nokia S60 smartphone, such as taking photos with the 3.2 megapixel sensor or watching and recording videos with the media player.
If you’re interested in picking up one of these devices, it is expected to launch sometime in September. We’ll let you know when we have a solid release date. Price is thought to be around 285 Euros (£246).
