Cash for Refrigerators: Will it help you in 2009?

Following our earlier news regarding the “Cash For Refrigerators” program more details of the proposed program are beginning to emerge. Just to recap the U.S government are currently considering rebating you up to $200 in exchange for inefficient household appliances.

Currently it seems that $300 billion of tax payers money will be used for the program which aims to rescue struggling companies and also have a beneficial effect on the environment, and perhaps reduce electricity bills.

Obviously with the rebate and also energy savings the Cash for Refrigerator’s program could be hugely beneficial when savings over the year are calculated.

The program has not yet been approved, however it is looking pretty likely to go ahead, we will keep you informed as we find out more. Check out AssociatedContent’s article for more details.
