BlizzCon 2009: World of Warcraft (WoW) Cataclysm Release Date

If you enjoy gaming and looking for something that will consistently provide hours of fun, WoW can definitely offer that. I’ve got the chance to take a look some of the changes on the existing zones, as well as some of the new features and classes. Worgen druid…oh man, that might be too hard to resist.

The question should be posted why Metzen chose Worgen for Alliance and Goblin for Horde. The game currently acknowledges a massive population disparity where Alliance out numbers Horde players in almost all of the Wintersgrasp PvP encounters. The buff offered to counter act the population advantage of the Alliance is insufficient to achieve anything more than a token idea. War is War. I would think people who produce a “War” MMO called “World of War Craft” would understand there almost no substitute for population in primitive battle. Time to balance the PvP.

Not sure what your talking about in Wintergrasp!? I do that BG daily several times a day and we are ALWAYS outnumbered by the Horde. If anything they need to make a limit on how many Allies and how many Horde can go into Wintergrasp at a time to even it out!

Well, i’m somewhat looking forward to it really, luckily all the furries will go Alliance so now Alliance will be even more shit, making it easier for horde in PvP, ye? That’s just my view though.
Am i the only one who thinks Goblins are pretty awesome?

I read that Orgrimmar, Horde’s main major city, is getting destroyed too. I guess that’s perfectly in keeping with the way Blizzard treats the Horde anyhow. If they wanted it to change, they could have just said that the orcs wanted to fortify the city because of the Cataclysm and Deathwing. That could have explained why the city gets revamped. Also the Horde leader Thrall gets ousted by a dude named Hellscream? And I think he kills the leader over at Thunderbluff. Where is the Horde love? Who knows?

he chose it becuz goblins are a more “fun” race and worgen are a more “scary” race and besides that will rpobably not do anything cuz people will make worgen for fun on horde

This is awsome i can’t wait for Cataclysm! Horde rules and Goblin are preety cool but i would have liked the worgen on the horde side tho.

Btw thrall is the guardian of twilight something and hellscream breaks the developing friendship between them and the allaince!
Worgen get a new major city and there will be another major city like shat and dalaran under the swirly thing in the middle of azeroth!
Shadowmourn is the new legendary for the lich king raid its a huge crystle axe frostmourn was taken away for some reason DAM U BLIZZARD!
And who nows the release date properly not loads of BS like November 1st 2010!

guys i now thats sound stupid but worgen will bea crate just by littell kids beacuse worgen is a cooler race and fun but adult with exp. will crate goblin beacuse they are a serios race.

Also its about time they gave the horde a small person class like goblins now the gnomes have someone equal to them they can fight

holy $H1T!!! new WoW expansion pack omfg this is gonna be awesome i am probably one of the top WoW fans of sporregar server in eu and i will never stop playing even at night when im supposed to be asleep im playing i am saying that i must get cataclysm or die trying to!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I dont like this expansion its ruining the game the old wow and TBC rocks Wotlk and cataclysm ruin it.. and all the new patches mount lvl 20 to low and 100 in 40 for 40 gold it tottaly sux! ofc the new races is good

makes plenty of sense the people have been asking for goblins as a playable race and makes much more sense to go with horde because of the ties they have to horde from wc1 and wc2 =)

that’s not quite right, most people just do horde or just do alliance. Worgens have good advantages and so do goblins, some people will choose to be a goblin coz they are horde and they look like they will be a very good race with abilitys and stats. I personally play alliance and im gonna make a worgen for the reason that they have good stats and i likje the ability to run fast from a certain amount of time which will let you escape when you are about to die in combat. It will have nothing to do with how old you are

I’m whaiting for the expansion 2 im so excidet for the awesome new things but i dont make sense for the new races…?
btw i wacth’d the trailer and i sawd the new things i will like much more this expansion than WOTLK.i will try the 2 new races to see what they have(racial spells bonuses) and some sort of. other people say that it will be booring but not for me.I play horde and first i will see and play with an Goblin and if i dont like him i will try the worgen.But if the 2 races are retard i will leave them and play with the old chars or play with new combines.With 1 word for the expansion i will say that its awesome i dont know about the others

This one is already outdated. Too bad, our dreams for this to be released last year didn't happen. Anyway, new updates confirms that this one will have a new launch on Blackfriday 2010. WOW Cataclysm Early Impressions.

I can't wait to get Cataclysm!!! I play toons on both sides, just for the fun of it! I'm definitely looking forward to trying out the new races. I've always wanted to be a Goblin!!! Definitely time to start getting my World of Warcraft Gold together…
