BlizzCon 2009: World of Warcraft (WoW) Cataclysm Release Date

Blizzard has now opened BlizzCon 2009 and already the news that has come out has been truly amazing. The most exiting announcement has to be the news of a new expansion pack for World Of Warcraft called Cataclysm. The only thing that gamers are now interested in is the release date of the new WoW expansion pack, but Blizzard is not giving anything away just yet, well maybe just a trailer.
According to a recent article in The Telegraph, Blizzard’s Chris Metzen has said that World of Warcraft: Cataclysm will change the face of the WoW online multi-player game. This latest and what is thought to be the best expansion pack yet boasts a host of new features, these include increased players, now up to 85.
Other new features include seven new playing zones, two new playable races for the Alliance and the Horde factions, new monsters, new character classes and hundreds of new quests for you to play.
The most exciting thing to come from the new expansion pack has to be the revamped environments. This is because the new storyline has had a huge impact on the game itself. While at BlizzCon 2009, those who attended were treated to a trailer of what they can expect from World of Warcraft: Cataclysm.

If you enjoy gaming and looking for something that will consistently provide hours of fun, WoW can definitely offer that. I’ve got the chance to take a look some of the changes on the existing zones, as well as some of the new features and classes. Worgen druid…oh man, that might be too hard to resist.
The question should be posted why Metzen chose Worgen for Alliance and Goblin for Horde. The game currently acknowledges a massive population disparity where Alliance out numbers Horde players in almost all of the Wintersgrasp PvP encounters. The buff offered to counter act the population advantage of the Alliance is insufficient to achieve anything more than a token idea. War is War. I would think people who produce a “War” MMO called “World of War Craft” would understand there almost no substitute for population in primitive battle. Time to balance the PvP.
he chose it becuz goblins are a more “fun” race and worgen are a more “scary” race and besides that will rpobably not do anything cuz people will make worgen for fun on horde
makes plenty of sense the people have been asking for goblins as a playable race and makes much more sense to go with horde because of the ties they have to horde from wc1 and wc2 =)

Not sure what your talking about in Wintergrasp!? I do that BG daily several times a day and we are ALWAYS outnumbered by the Horde. If anything they need to make a limit on how many Allies and how many Horde can go into Wintergrasp at a time to even it out!
Well, i’m somewhat looking forward to it really, luckily all the furries will go Alliance so now Alliance will be even more shit, making it easier for horde in PvP, ye? That’s just my view though.

This is awsome i can’t wait for Cataclysm! Horde rules and Goblin are preety cool but i would have liked the worgen on the horde side tho.

Worgen get a new major city and there will be another major city like shat and dalaran under the swirly thing in the middle of azeroth!
Shadowmourn is the new legendary for the lich king raid its a huge crystle axe frostmourn was taken away for some reason DAM U BLIZZARD!
And who nows the release date properly not loads of BS like November 1st 2010!
guys i now thats sound stupid but worgen will bea crate just by littell kids beacuse worgen is a cooler race and fun but adult with exp. will crate goblin beacuse they are a serios race.

that’s not quite right, most people just do horde or just do alliance. Worgens have good advantages and so do goblins, some people will choose to be a goblin coz they are horde and they look like they will be a very good race with abilitys and stats. I personally play alliance and im gonna make a worgen for the reason that they have good stats and i likje the ability to run fast from a certain amount of time which will let you escape when you are about to die in combat. It will have nothing to do with how old you are
