Motorola mobile phone movies coming from Blockbuster
By: Jamie Pert | August 20, 2009 | 1 CommentBlockbuster latest attempt to not be left behind with the ever growing digital distribution industry is to now offer Blockbuster OnDemand, this service will be available on a select group of Motorola mobile phones. This follows Blockbuster’s recent deal with Samsung which plans to deliver movies directly to your home.
According to the report the Blockbuster OnDemand service will supposedly provide access to thousands of films, the application is also said to offer functionality which will let you reserve store titles for pickup or even arrange a home delivery, a release date has not yet been announced.
Motorola are also hoping that this service may increase appeal for their handsets, which over the last few years has slowly diminished, with the iPhone’s iTunes service and a possible rumored Netflix service for the handset it seems that Motorola are facing an uphill battle.
