Loving Apple iPhone, hating AT&T
By: Alan Ng | August 20, 2009 | 1 CommentA recent survey released has revealed that many iPhone owners are loving Apple’s device, but at the same time, are ‘hating’ the iPhone’s U.S carrier AT&T who at the moment, are the only ones with exclusive rights on the iPhone.
According to ComputerWorld, 200 iPhone 3GS owners were polled in a recent survery by ChangeWave Research. Of those surveyed, it was revealed that more than eight of every ten iPhone 3GS owners said they were “very satisfied” with the smartphone, with another 17% saying they were “somewhat satisfied.”
However, when it came to discussing their disikes about the iPhone, 32% complained about the iPhone lock-in with AT&T, then a further 23% complained about AT&T data and calling plans, service speed and overall quality.
”The AT&T problem is by far the most significant pitfall of the iPhone” – stated Paul Carton, one of the Research Directors at ChangeWave.
