i.TV v2.0: Popular iPhone app gets an update

The popular i.TV application for iPhone has recently been updated to version 2.0, for those of you who do not know what i.TV is I would recommend checking out the video at the end of this post. Version 2.0 has had more functionality added and also has a new and improved user interface.

For those of you who don’t know about i.TV it is a TV listings application for iPhone, however within this interface there is a huge amount of functionality which includes viewing details on shows, rating shows, favoriting shows, viewing YouTube clips, watching trailers and even buying cinema tickets, it also integrates with Netflix.

Version 2.0 adds to this already impressive list of functionality with new push notification which alerts you when your favorite TV shows air, also there is now built in iTunes integration, another two major new functions are the new Remote Control function and the TiVo remote function.
