250GB PS3 Slim: FCC News

With the recent announcement of a PS3 Slim console on its way many people were put of by the fact the console only had a 120GB hard disk drive, however it seems that a recent FCC filing seems to suggest that Sony plan to release a 250GB version of the console.

Their are two FCC submissions, one is for a PS3 Slim with the model number CECH-2001A and the other is for the PS3 Slim with the model number CECH-2001B. The 2001A is a 120GB version whereas the CECH-2001B is said to be a 250GB version.

Sony may delay the release of the 250GB version of the console, however it is possible to swap the drive manually for a larger disk drive if you are desperate for more storage. Check out DigitalBattle for more details.
