By: Jamie Pert | August 19, 2009
As many of you have probably witnessed the Xbox 360 has a very common fault, this is reffered to as the ring-of-death, personally I have had two Xbox 360’s red-light on me, the first one was covered under warranty however the second one I had to fix myself.
The ring-of-death is causd by over-heating and is covered by Microsoft’s warranty, however if your Xbox 360 is out of warranty you can either pay Microsoft $150 or perhaps try to fix it yourself, if you are thining of fixing it yourself you may want to check out this article.
Due to this fault being so common many people are reluctant to pay Microsoft $150 to fix a problem which they in many peoples opinions are resposnible for. If you would like to attempt a repair many people beleive that one of the best resources out there is 3 Red Light Fix.
Have you fixed your Ring-of-Death? How did you do it? Did the fix last long?
