Windows 7: UK Gets OS Half Price

Although the US pre-orders of Windows 7 have now stopped, the UK online retailer Amazon.co.uk are still offering extremely good prices for the software, currently UK citezens are saving approximately $93 on Windows 7 Home Premium and $52 on Windows 7 Professional.

The prices are as followed, Windows 7 Home Premium £63.99 as opposed to a usual RRP of £149.99, Windows 7 Professional £149.98 as opposed to a usual RRP of £219.99 and Windows 7 Ultimate £168.98 as opposed to a usual retail price of £229.99.

To be honest UK citizens usually get prices higher than that of Americans so it does make a change, however it would be interesting to see if Amazon.co.uk will post these to American addresses. Check out the original article on Windows7News.
