Shadow Complex Review: Best game in a long time

When Geek.com had first learned about Shadow Complex for the Xbox 360 it was not a game that seemed that interesting to them at first, they have now admitted that they were very wrong, which they aim to explain in their review. The reviewer says that this is the best game in a long time, so is it that good.

Shadow Complex from Chair Entertainment is classed as a side-scrolling platformer, the game is 2D, but has been designed with 3D elements thanks to its 3D engine. The implementation is one of the cleverest that has been done using the Unreal Engine.

The plot of the game is a simple one, but do not let that put you off as it works very well with the design of the game. You, the player will take control of Jason Fleming; he is just your average solider with Special Forces training. He has a girlfriend who is a spelunking enthusiast.

The happy couple goes on a camping trip for a relaxing time alone, but they find out that the cave that they are staying in is occupied with heavily armed men. Those men are out to start a whole heap of trouble; it is the job of Jason, to stop them from doing so.

  1. Pete, what’s going on here?

Either quote the article, or don’t. You shouldn’t copy what I wrote, switch a few words, and remove the lines you don’t like.
