PS3 Slim Release Date On Retail Sites

The buzz around GamesCom 2009 was the announcement of the PS3 Slim from Sony, we already heard rumors but it was the first official statement from Sony regarding the new slimmer PlayStation 3. We know that Sony is releasing the PS3 Slim from September 1, but we do not know the dates in different countries.

Let us have a look at a few online retail stores and see what dates they are offering the PS3 Slim to its customers. Amazon.co.uk is saying that the PS3 Slim is available from September 1, which you can pre-order now for £249.99. Amazon.co.uk is warning that these items could run out of stock quick.

Amazon.com are also offering customers the chance to pre-order the PS3 Slim, the price is just $299.99. Amazon.com also understand that these new slimmer PlayStation 3 games consoles will be in limited stocks at first, which is why you can only pre-order one console each.

Kmart is not as informative as both Amazon websites, all they have is a page that reads Sony PS3, SLIM PRESELL 2. The site also says coming soon, available for Pre-order, again with a price of $299.99.
