Wolfenstein: PS3 Review
Filed under: Gaming, Sony Playstation 3

With Wolfenstein 3d impacting the gaming world early in the 90’s any successor to the game would have a big expectation to live up to, well now that Wolfenstein has been out a while on the PlayStation 3 a review has recently shown up on examiner.com.
According to the review the basic gameplay is very similar to Call of Duty 4 however that said the game has a lot of differences, on Wolfenstein you can carry around all of the weapons you own without having to swap and change weapons, you can also upgrade your weapons by finding intelligence and spending gold at the black market.
However all is not good, the games graphics are said to be below par and a lot of the menus look unfinished, cut scenes do not do the game any favors either as they do not excel on the poor graphics shown throughout the game.
Not only are the graphics disappointing but the games story mode is said to seem quite uninspired, one of the major complaints is that if the game didn’t seem so rushed it could easily be an extremely good game. Check out examiner.com for full details.

The game was actually really good, yes the graphics are below, but you have to understand that the world is huge, the graphics resemble fallout 3 and oblivion, although the game isnt free roam, you have a bunch of houses almost all are accessable and have 1-10 floors, if your a fan of the original wolfenstein 3d then you’ll love this one.
thats a fact
There’s nothing particuarly wrong with the graphics but nothing that’s really impressive either. I agree the story isn’t the most original, the whole medallion thing sounds like something George Lucas would knock out in an afternoon. It’s more Indiana Jones than Wolfenstein, especially with lot of the environments.
I haven’t finished the game yet so i’m hoping the story will grab me a bit more but at this stage i’m just going through the motions.
It’s good though. Who doesn’t like shooting English speaking Nazi’s?
Wolfenstein has finally arrived. The remake is as good as the original was. The WWII and occult formula still works.
