TomTom Car Kit: Works with iPod Touch
By: Alan Ng | August 18, 2009
Following on from our earlier story, which informed you of the official release of the TomTom application for the iPhone, it has been confirmed recently that the new TomTom Car Kit will be compatible with the iPod Touch too.
As MacRumors reports, its not just Apple products that are supported either, as TomTom public relations manager Yann Lafargue reveals: “It will work with the iPod touch and will also work with third-party GPS applications.”
Surely thats good news then for owners of an iPod Touch who are looking to make use of the TomTom service. All we need now is some official release dates and prices for the car kit. If reports are true, we could be seeing a release for the car kit towards the end of the Summer.
We’ll let you know once we hear more details.
