PS3 VOD: Download movies from PSN, rent or buy
By: Alan Ng | August 18, 2009 | Leave a CommentIts a feature that many of you have been waiting for a long time, but that wait will be over by the end of the year, as Sony have just announced that Video-On-Demand will be coming to European Playstation 3 owners.
As reported from VG247, PS3 VOD will enable you to download movies straight from the Playstation Store, giving you the option of either purchasing fully or just renting movies in both HD and SD.
The service will be available this November to customers in the UK, France, Germany and Spain. No other countries were listed, but that may change in the future.
PS3 VOD will be fully integrated into PSN, meaning that you’ll still be able to use your same wallet information, and so on. Let us know your reaction to the news.
