PS3 Slim UK Release Date: Friday 11 September

Following on from our earlier news about the PS3 Slim being available for pre-order (even before Sony’s GamesCom conference) at Kmart, we now have a possible release date in the UK for Sony’s new console.
According to TechCrunch, Sony will release the PS3 Slim in the UK on Friday September 11th. No word on a price yet, but it may be the same as the new £250 price tag that UK supermarket ASDA have just introduced.
Hopefully this bit of news on the Slim will be the ‘last’ before Sony finally announce the thing officially. We’re not sure if we’re excited about it anymore. Kind of reminds me about the PSP Go and all the buildup to that at E3.
At the moment, the date is only according to TechCrunch and their ‘trusty’ source, so until Sony make the statement very soon, stay on your toes.

Ahh finally the PS3 Slim. After checking out my friends gigantic PS3 I decided to hold off and get the Slim. I figured they would release it eventually. Woot! geekmoz.com
