Earthworm Jim: New game for Xbox 360, PS3 and Nintendo Wii

Something for retro lovers out there now, as it has been confirmed that Earthworm Jim is to make a return to consoles, with the announcement of a new title (not a remake) on the way to the Xbox 360, Playstation 3 and Nintendo Wii.

As reported from VG247, the new game will be developed and published by GameLoft and Interplay - the company behind the original games. The game won’t see a proper release at retail, but instead will be available on Xbox Live arcade, Playstation Network and WiiWare.

Its not as straight forward as you think though, as it has been confirmed that the upcoming game will be a timed exclusive on the Xbox 360, for a month at least.
