Cologne Gamescom 2009 Expo: Last Minute Predictions

Buzz This

In case you didn’t know by now, today is GamesCom time, with both the EA and Sony press conferences scheduled to take place later on in Cologne, Germany. We thought we would engage your brains with some last minute predictions just before the event, hopefully to give us a taster of things to come.

Well we have to start with the PS3 Slim, as that has been dominating all the headlines as of late. Its pretty much a certainty that Sony will announce a slim-line version of the PS3, so i guess all we are waiting for is a price and release date.

Sony are also expected to announce a reduced price for their exsisting PS3 SKU’s, while EA might have some more details involving Command and Conquer 4 and Crysis 2 – which was announced back at E3.

Now its your turn. What are your predictions for today’s press conferences?

This is where the Sony Snowballing Effect begins. The amount of 360 owners I know that have said once the PS3 hits the £250.00 mark or lower they are in with a copy of infamous and killzone 2!

    Here is starts

    Playstation all day everyday!!!

    Bye Bye Microsoft LOL

And miss out on Halo, GeOW, Alan Wake etc? Crazy Fools.

I’ll defo be keeping mine when I get the Slim; although the “great-dust-gathering-extravaganza” which is my Wii might have to go.

Logically speaking though, why reduce the price of the fatty if the slim is cheaper and has less features? Unless the slim is in fact not cheaper than the fatty. The Ps3GO could infact be the same price.
