Bethesda hints about Elder Scrolls V release
By: Alan Ng | August 18, 2009 | Leave a CommentGood news if you are a fan of the Elder Scrolls game series, as developers Bethesda has given us a hint (just a small one) that they will release Elder Scrolls V eventually. I have to admit to being a fan of Oblivion, so I’m hoping the next installment comes sooner rather than later.
As reported from VG247, the news came from director Todd Howard who had decided to retract his previous comments made about the Elder Scroll series, where he made it pretty clear that there was ‘not’ another game in the series on the way.
Now though, as stated on the Bethesda blog:
”Todd and Bethesda Game Studios are hard at work on their next big game, and we’re not ready to discuss it. As always, we prefer to have something amazing to show when we talk about it. We aren’t going to confirm or deny or comment on speculation, nor are we going to give hints about anything. If you know us by now, you know we don’t really do that.”
Will it or won’t it? We know that Bethesda are keeping this one on wraps, we’d expect nothing less. Let us know your thoughts on the possibility of an Elder Scrolls V title.
