School Supplies: Online stores hit early
By: Alan Ng | August 17, 2009 | Leave a CommentWe are getting to the final weeks in August, and that means one thing for kids and parents, back-to-school time. If you’re a kid, you obviously dread going back to school, but if you’re a parent, it could be a worrying time due to the current economic conditions.
We have a study for you to take a look at, courtesy of SeekingAlpha, who examine online behaviour between shoppers, for back-to-school costs between July 2008 and July 2009.
Popular back-to-school retailers were included in the search, just as Target, Walmart, Staples, Office Depot and Office Max. Popular back-to-school search results increased during the two years, meaning that shoppers are now more aware than ever in trying to cut back on expenses, ready for the new school year.
If you are a parent and worried about the costs of the new school year, it might be a good idea to start shopping early before prices start to change during the last week of August.
