Samsung Galaxy i7500: Releasing on O2
By: Jamie Pert | August 17, 2009 | 1 CommentRumors are beginning to emerge stating that the UK carrier O2 will soon be offering the Samsung Galaxy i7500. If these rumors are true we should see the handset available next week. The Samsung Galaxy i7500 is highly anticipated as it is Samsung’s first Android handset.
The handset offers quite an impressive technical specification, it has a 3.2 inch AMOLED display which has 16 million colors and has 320 x 480 pixels, this should provide an extremely vivid and crisp display. It also has 8GB of memory as standard and a 5 megapixel camera. In terms of performance the handset boasts a Qualcomm 528 MHz processor and 128MB of RAM, this combined with the Android OS shouldn’t be too sluggish.
There are still a few unanswered questions, such as what will be the exact release date, and also what will be the price of the handset, as we find out more we will keep you updated. Check out IntoMobile for more details. For a full specification listing of the handset check out GSMArena.
