PS3 Slim release and new PlayStation 3 box art

A new article recently showed up on Dotdosh, this article seems to show that PlayStation 3 games in the future may have a new standard design for their boxes. At the moment we are used to seeing the “Spider-Man font” saying PlayStation 3 on the left hand side of the box, however the image shows a smaller banner at the top of the box instead. The new box seems to appear less cluttered than the older versions, and gives space for a larger image for the specific title, along with this it should give the boxes a more uniformed look too.

The image was submitted by an “anonymous tipster” so the legitimacy of this is still not 100 percent definite, however the image looks genuine and in my opinion looks better than the current design.
