Nintendo Wii and DS to get Spore
Filed under: Gaming, Nintendo DS, Nintendo Wii

Electronic Arts have just announced the release dates for the Nintendo Wii and Nintendo DS versions of PC and Mac favourite Spore. Titled Spore Hero and Spore Hero Arena respectively, the games will get a release in the US and Europe during early October.
As reported from Cnet, both games will be available in the US on October 6th, followed by an International release on October 9th. Both games will vary on the two platforms, but both basically offer the same objectives – save the world from the bad guys.
Lucy Bradshaw, vice president of Maxis who develop the game had this to say on the two titles:
“Players’ heroes take center stage as both games, distinctly tailor-made for its Nintendo platform, infuse creativity, combat and adventure to create a unique gameplay experience on the Wii and Nintendo DS.”
Something for Spore fans to look forward to in October then. Let us know what you make of the news.
