Features include Virtual Private Networking (VPN), eight Gigabit Ethernet ports, up to 25 megabit per second broadband throughput and a one Gigabit Wide Area Network (WAN).

I wanted to switch to Netgear a while ago, but they didn’t support my OS. Now that they do, I will be giving them a serious look. Anyone have insight as to how well they are keeping up with firmware updates? Netgear has a bad habit of abandoning products once they upgrade or replace them.

It depends on what you’re trying to do. You may not need a VPN. Consider using Remote Desktop Services. That may accomplish everything you need, and it’s quite a bit easier than setting up a VPN.
