
Champions Online: Now in open beta phase
By: Alan Ng | August 17, 2009 | Leave a CommentAtari and Cryptic Studios have today confirmed that subscription-based MMO game, Champions Online, has now gone gold and has moved into open beta phase. What that means is that everything is going smoothly and we should the game released early next month.
As reported from CVG, the open beta is good news for all of those eager gamers who missed out on the chance to take part in the closed beta. As for now, this news only refers to the PC version, as progress on the Xbox 360 version is unknown at the moment.
Pricing details have already been announced by Cryptic Studios, with the game retailing for $49.99 USD (£29). After that, players will need to fork out $14 (£8.99), in order to keep playing the game.
