Sony PS3 Slim: More release details and price

Most of you will be aware that GamesCom is coming up next Tuesday and most of you are predicting that Sony will finally put all of the rumors to rest, and announce the PS3 Slim to the world. Recently, we have heard yet more rumors that the Slim is due to be unveiled at GamesCom and also, a possible price for the new slimline console.

As reported from ItProPortal, the latest rumors have come from a French retailer, who claim that the Sony PS3 Slim will be around 100 Euros cheaper than the current version.

Meanwhile, over at Gadget website Pocket-Lint, they claim to have been told that the PS3 Slim is ‘confirmed’, but decided not to reveal the sources that were ‘close to them’.

I feel a familiar pattern is occuring with the PS3 Slim, than what happened with the PSP Go and all the build up to E3. You can only keep a secret, secret for so long Jack Tretton.
