It’s amazing how successful the CARS (Car Allowance Rebate System) has been from the moment it was announced, and following the additional two billion dollars of funding came a new idea, the “Cash for Clunkers Voucher”.
Earlier this week you may have been aware that Rep. Fred Upton and Rep. Candice Miller promoted the Cash for Clunkers voucher idea to the Secretary of Transportation, Ray LaHood. Today we hear that this idea turned from concept to reality.
Eco Auto Ninja is reporting that the Obama Administration has given the thumbs up for people to use vouchers to buy cars from car manufacturers, when they are not in stock at the dealership.
The Cash for Clunkers voucher system means that buyers will have more choices available to them, and this also helps keep up production with auto manufacturers. Read more on this at ecoautoninja.com.
