Xbox 360 Dashboard Update released - Features explained

Good news if you’re an Xbox 360 owner, as we can now confirm that the highly anticipated Dashboard Update is now live on the console. The official Xbox website has now been updated, giving everyone a detailed insight into all the new features contained on the dashboard.

As TechTree reports, the update has been rolling out to everyone throughout the last day or two, so now everyone should of had the update message come up on their consoles already.

New features in the update include Games-On-Demand, Avatars, Improved Netflix functionality, enhancements to the User Interface and many more minor features.

Another interesting addition is ‘Tenure’, which will now display how many years a member has been subscribing to Xbox Live Gold. For a more detailed look at all of the features within the update, head to the official Xbox website here.
