A fully detailed review of the T-Mobile HTC Touch Pro 2 has shown up on Engadget, the review looks into the handsets hardware and software and also includes a full gallery and video of the handset in action. Check out Engadgets article here.
The new HTC Touch Pro 2 has a full landscape QWERTY keyboard which slides out in a similar way to the Nokia N97, it has a 3.6 inch WVGA display which uses the latest build of TouchFLO 3D touchscreen technology. The handset also runs Windows Mobile and has built in WiFi.
The design of the handset is said to give the Touch Pro 2 a very large feel in your hands, when really it isn’t much bigger than any other smartphone. The handset is said to be quite heavy, this is due o the 1500mAh battery and other advanced hardware within the handset.
The software on the handset is said run very smoothly, there are no frequent freezes or crashes, and it runs quite fast, throughout the whole review Engadget never noticed any laginess with the touchscreen interface. Engadget were also impressed with the Touch Pro 2’s myFaves home screen which allows you to fully customize it.
All in all Engadget seemed very happy with the handset, and they even state it could be the best Windows Mobile available for an American carrier today. Remember to check out the video below.
