Good news if you are an owner of a Roku Video Player, as you’ll now be able to stream live baseball games in high definition, thanks to the latest update. Don’t worry if you’re not too much of a baseball fan, as you’ll still be able to enjoy rentals from Amazon and Netflix.
As reported from Engadget, the Roku Video Player is still priced at just $99. Along with the addition of HD MLB streaming, users will be able to play, pause, and rewind live games from MLB.TV, while also being able to watch archived games on demand, if you want to.
As for pricing, customers will need to pay a one-off subscription fee of $35 to MLB.TV. Head over to Engadget to take a look at some images of the new service in action.
