Nokia and Microsoft Agree Office App Partnership

It is no secret that Nokia and Microsoft have been long time rivals, but both companies are about to do a u-turn as they have agreed to a partnership. If the deal goes ahead, then we could be seeing a Microsoft Office app on Nokia cell phones.

According to Techtree, both parties have yet to officially announce the partnership, but it is in Microsoft’s best interest to go ahead with the deal. This is because they are taking a beating by its competition, such as Google Docs. This allows users to access to web-based office applications, rather than installing software.

With phones becoming faster and more powerful more users are using their handsets to not only view but also edit and transfers documents, presentations and spreadsheets. Having Nokia and Microsoft form a partnership seems like the perfect solution.
