Matte screen option for 15 inch MacBook Pro’s
By: Jamie Pert | August 12, 2009 | Leave a CommentAccording to a recent article on ComputerWorld it seems as if Apple are now offering their 15 inch MacBook Pro’s with the option of an antiglare display. To upgrade to the MacBook Pro antiglare display will set you back $50 and is available on all three 15 inch MacBook Pro models.
Before this news emerged Apple only offered antiglare displays for its 17 inch MacBook Pro’s, rumors did start to emerge last month stating that Apple were thinking about this change, however there was nothing set in stone.
Apple still offer other notebooks without the matte display options, these laptops include the 13 inch MacBook, the 13 inch MacBook Pro and the 13 inch MacBook Air. Apple still heavily support there richer glossy displays, however many people much prefer matte antiglare variants.
Do you think $50 is a fair price to pay for a 15 inch matte screen upgrade?
